Campbell IP Law Weighs In on Patent Reform in Star Tribune Interview
April 20, 2016

Jason Campbell, founder of Campbell IP Law, was interviewed by the Star Tribune and quoted in, “Legislators Crack Down on Patent Trolls Who Target Small Businesses,” which covered legislative efforts to curb abusive patent enforcement practices.

While the published quote focused on the burden of costly legal representation in the absence of a legislative solution, Jason also provided the journalist with broader context on how vague patent claims and aggressive demand letters can disrupt innovation and disproportionately impact startups and small enterprises.

Campbell IP Law continues to advocate for balanced IP policy that protects legitimate patent holders while shielding entrepreneurs from predatory tactics. We recognize how vulnerable small businesses can be to these practices, which is why we strive to offer accessible, transparent pricing and strategic guidance tailored to early-stage companies and entrepreneurs. Our goal is to help innovators protect their ideas and avoid falling prey to patent infringement assertions.
